Fields of Study/ Requirements

MediaCorp is looking for aspiring Journalists and New Media Engineers to develop a career with it. Journalists should possess excellent proficiency in at least two of the three languages (English and Chinese / Tamil), and keen to pursue a degree in Mass Communication, Political Science, Economics, Finance or Business Studies. For New Media Engineers, applicants must be prepared to take up a degree programme in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, and possess interest in new media platforms.

Monstrou Studio Pte Ltd

Founded in August 2008, Monstrou Studio is a Singapore-based independent TV Production, Animation and Distribution house, and the producers of the "Salam Ramadan" series, "Halal Galore - China" info-ed programme as well as a full 3D animated cartoon series, titled “Tritans” , amongst others.

Through our innovative content creation team, Monstrou Studio had for the year 2011 alone had created and produced more than 22 hours in TV programming in English, Malay and Mandarin. To date, the company had secured a number of platforms through broadcasters such as MediaCorp Singapore, such as SURIA, okto and Channel U as well as regional broadcast platforms such as ASTRO, Radio Television Brunei, TV One Indonesia, and TV Al-Hijrah for our in-house productions produced in association with Media Development Authority of Singapore
