The PSB mission is to inform, educate and engage Singaporeans by supporting the provision of a range of quality content that fulfil PSB objectives.
PSB Objectives
The PSB objectives are to:
- Promote social values important to Singapore and Singaporeans
-These social values include family and community bonding, social inclusiveness, catering to the needs of special interest groups such as the elderly and youth, etc.
- Celebrate our culture and heritage
-This includes the promotion of the arts and cross-cultural awareness
- Promote racial and religious harmony, including minority programming and minority representation in other programming;
- Promote the Singapore identity
- Stimulate knowledge and learning
-This includes the provision of factual and educational content serving the viewing interest of children, youth and the general population.
- Foster an informed society
-This includes the provision of news, information and analysis of current affairs that increase our understanding of the world.
