No Content Vetting
Local publications are not pre-vetted but industry players are expected to ensure that content adheres to guidelines on moral, racial, religious issues and matters related to Singapore’s national interest.
Local print media is expected to be responsible in their reporting, and to exercise their own editorial policies, taking into consideration societal norms and cultural sensitivities.
Acting Against Complaints
Any complaints made against a publication will be investigated by the MDA with the help of its Publications Consultative Panel (PCP).
